Peter Martin, LAc, LMT
Peter Martin is a licensed acupuncturist, in private practice in Portland, Oregon since May of 1993. His work is informed by 31 years as a licensed massage therapist, with an interdisciplinary B.A. in Dance/Movement Studies and Health & Healing from Naropa University. His professional credentials include a masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, diplomat status conferred by the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncturists, and certificates of advanced study from the Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Harbin, China and the World Health Organization International Acupuncture Training Center at the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Nanjing, China. Mr. Martin presently serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine, Associate Medical Director at CHPgroup and on the Executive Committee of the Integrated Healthcare Policy Consortium. In 2004, he was named Deputy Executive Chair of the Nanjing International Forum on Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Second World Congress on Chinese Medicine and recently gained certification as a 4H Wildlife Steward.
