IHPC Administrative Coordinator
Florence McCloud
Florence McCloud brings a wealth of experience to her work as Administrative Coordinator for IHPC. Ms. McCloud was District Office Manager & Executive Assistant for Representative Bernie Sanders (now Senator Sanders) from 1993-96. Prior to that, she worked on consumer protection issues with the State of Vermont's Attorney General's office. More recently Ms. McCloud, has worked with low-income citizens of Vermont on both credit and affordable housing access through Opportunities Credit Union of Burlington and the Burlington Community Land Trust. Ms. McCloud has a B.A. in Psychology. She is an author of both poetry and fiction and has taught English and creative writing at the high school level. She is very interested in helping secure access to affordable housing, health care and job training for all.
